Best Practice Award for Valuing Volunteers

We are delighted to announce that Dumfries and Galloway Advocacy Service have won the Best Practice Aware for Valuing Volunteers!

Pamela Deans, Chief Executive, said “We were recently awarded the Best Practice Award for Valuing Volunteers by Third Sector D&G and we are thrilled. We could not run this service without our wonderful volunteers who freely give up their time to support our clients and the service as a whole.”

Our volunteers are a huge asset to Dumfries and Galloway Advocacy Service.  We rely heavily on the volunteers who give up their time to ensure we can provide an Advocacy Service across Dumfries and Galloway and work with as many clients as we do.  We really appreciate all their efforts and it is great to have been given this award!
